A young lady on Friday was brought before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos over claimed kill.
The 16-year-old showed up before the Chief Magistrate, Mrs A. O. Adedayo, on a two-count charge of trick and murder.
The Magistrate who declined to take the supplication of the denounced requested that the adolescent be remanded at the Special Correctional Center for Girls, Idi-Araba, Mushin, Lagos.
Adedayo coordinated that the case document ought to be sent to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for exhortation.
Police Prosecutor, Chinalu Uwadione told the court that the 16-year-old submitted the offenses on Aug. 7 at Cele Bus Stop, Ijanikin, on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
He asserted that the blamed shot one Abraham Umaru, in the head.
As per the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the offenses repudiated Sections 223 and 233 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 which stipulates a capital punishment for guilty parties.
The Magistrate, in this manner, deferred the case until Sept. 5 for the DPP’s recommendation.
