Nigeria to enter into 25 agreements with China – Presidency

The Presidency has said Nigeria will sign no less than 25 agreement with China within the following couple of days.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, said this yesterday amid a meeting with Channels Television’s Politics Today, in response to the vow of the Chinese government to give $60 billion to back Africa’s advancement.

“Assentions are as of now being agreed upon. Starting today, eight understandings have been marked and we expect that around 25 of such assentions will be marked before the designation comes back to Nigeria,” he said.

Talking further, he said the administration wants to draw more money related help from China, to drive enter infrastructural extends in the nation.

“Following the last summit in South Africa, the speculation by China in Nigeria in – specific has dramatically increased, with the expanding financing of framework, railroad, road, bridge and power. Along these lines, on a legislature to government level, we expect that we will draw significantly all the more financing from China for key infrastructural ventures.”
