Malam Hassan Muhammadu (Babadalan Dukku) is the most credible, trustworthy and qualified personality that can govern and take Gombe state to greater height.
In 2019, Gombe State would look forward to a leader who will not only provide basic infrastructures, but also lead in a manner that will transform the life of the common man. And that is where the name of Babadalan Dukku takes first.
Sustainable development is extremely important and Barade’s governorship would pivot more developmental success for Gombe State. Having been working with present administration since its inception as Commissioner of Finance whose responsibilities included managing the finances of the state, covering the totality of its revenue and expenditure in the most efficient and prudent manner. Under his watch, the state’s financial performance improved feasibly with the state budget performance of about 85% annually.
It is therefore safe to conclude that Barade is the real Mr Insider in Gombe State’s political and financial terrain, who knows where we came from, where we are now, where we are heading to and how to get there.
It is obvious that the advantage of this strategic position and in depth knowledge of the system will result in a seamless transition from Dr Dankwambo’s administration which is adjudged as one of the best in the country’s democracy to Barade who is the brain behind the prudent management of resources in the state.
Baraden Bojude, a hard working private and public servant who built a thriving consulting firm, Stratecon International Limited, served as Institutional Development Advisor, he led the reform and restructuring of the Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE) under Malam Nasir El-rufai, the Federal Ministry of Finance under Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) under Malam Nuhu Ribado, the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria under Malam Tanimu Yakubu, he consulted and latter became the project manager of the GBP 3.1m DFID support for the Nigerian Debt Management office (DMO), an intervention that ultimately led to the exit of Nigeria from the Paris Club, the winning of historic debt relief of USD 18billion by Nigeria and pruning of Nigeria’s London club debt stock and the substitution of the primary obligor (the CBN) with a renowned investment banker.
As a financial expert, his financial knowledge will help in the proper and timely execution of state projects and seek new avenues from which the state could generate more revenues.
