The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, reacted to flight allegations by the best musicians, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage.
FAAN has stated that the flight reports are false and unfounded. On Wednesday, luggage belonging to the two artists was allegedly stolen from a Bombardier Challenger 605 bomber with T7-A00 registration number as it slowly drove to a hangar at the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos. The artists were returning from a function in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.
FAAN spokesperson Henrietta Yakubu said the information was false, adding that it was impossible to rob the jet.
“The alleged victims in these cases also did not make themselves available for interrogations, in order to unravel the case.
“Although investigations are ongoing, FAAN would like to reassure travelers and the general public that it is virtually impossible to rob a plane in our tracks and aprons with the level of safety and security at the airports.
