Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, previous Chief Security Officer (CSO) to late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, on Sunday rose the presidential competitor of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN).
Al-Mustapha polled 3,564,262 votes to beat other presidential applicants – Dr Imuetinyan Igbinnosa who had 2,183,856 votes and Chief Isiaka Olorunnimbe, who gathered 1,400,755 votes.
Chairman, PPN Presidential Primary Elections Committee, Hon Dare Adekolu, who examined decision results from the 36 states and the FCT at the PPN Presidential Primaries/2018 National Convention which held in Ado Ekiti, pronounced Al-Mustapha as the gathering’s presidential applicant.
Adekolu, who is PPN Ekiti State Chairman, while encouraging individuals and Nigerians to help and vote in favor of the gathering’s flagbearer for the 2019 presidential race, stated: “PPN has come to recover Nigeria. PPN has come to spare Nigeria from destitution, need, joblessness and underdevelopment, henceforth the requirement for help”.
In his acknowledgment discourse, Al-Mustapha, who was spoken to on the event by Zakaria Husseini, guaranteed Nigerians great initiative and guaranteed to rescue the nation and set it back on the way of development and success.
Husseini, who depicted the PPN flagbearer as a detribalised, energetic Nigerian and experienced overseer, guaranteed that Al-Mustapha would “give the missing connection in administration in Nigeria and guarantee better lives for the citizenry in all circles of the economy”.
In his location, PPN National Chairman, Hon Razak Eyiowuawi, who communicated certainty that with the gathering’s flagbearer, the street was clear for PPN to win the 2019 presidential decision, portrayed the gathering as the nation’s life-wire with its accentuation as agribusiness advancement.
Eyiowuawi said “the prominence, abundance of experience and Major Al-Mustapha and his interest to a wide range will push the gathering to triumph. PPN is a power to figure with. We are going into this decision which we trust we can win with positive personality”.
The PPN executive, who expelled implications in a few quarters that the 2019 presidential decision would be straight battle among APC and PDP, said his gathering was the gathering to beat, saying: “Real Al-Mustapha will assume control from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
“Keep in mind PPN is a piece of alliance of United Political Parties (CUPP). Aside from the way that our gathering can win the race individually, our competitor is relied upon to rise as the CUPP possibility for the presidential race and will overcome Buhari.
“I realize that PDP presidential competitor, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will work with Major Al-Mustapha when our hopeful develops as CUPP presidential applicant. Nigerians can be rest-guaranteed of estimation of lives, welfare of specialists, instruction advancement and repositioning of the economy among others under Al-Mustapha’s administration,” the PPN National Chairman said.
