Sixteen people have lost their lives as property worth a huge number of Naira were wrecked in 90 distinctive flame flare-ups inside the first quarter of 2019 in Jigawa state.
This was revealed by the Jigawa State Directorate of Fire Service and Rescue,
Alhaji Ahmad Danyaro Gumel, while checking on the office’s first quarter report.
He said inside the period under audit, the administration recorded 90 diverse flame flare-up and property worth more than 98 million naira was crushed by flame episode.
He said property esteemed at more than 172 million naira were spared amid the period under audit, including that 12 creatures were annihilated by flame fiascos, while 22 were spared by the directorate.
He approached the general population to turn off every single electrical machine before heading to sleep, and prompted guardians to caution their kids against neglectful utilization of matches to counteract fire occurrences.
